JOIN US FOR A MAGICAL MUSICAL GATHERING featuring the Sunshine Coast's finest musicians performing the original songs of Jellyfish Project co-founder, Daniel Kingsbury.
Enjoy the music of over 30 diverse, talented musicians while supporting two meaningful causes that are also a part of Daniel's legacy:
The Daniel Kingsbury Music for Youth Endowment honours Daniel’s belief in the power of music to transform a life, and his commitment to giving back to his community. As a high school student, Daniel brought his friends together to establish a lasting fund to help young people pursue their musical dreams. To date, this endowment has provided 72 grants to local youth. Your support of this event means more aspiring young musicians needing financial assistance will have the opportunity to achieve their goals.
The Jellyfish Project was established by Daniel and his Mindil Beach bandmates, to combine the revolutionary power of live music with potent, solutions-based educational content to inspire youth to take effective action for our environment and our future. Your support of this event will mean more youth can be reached by our ROCK THE CLIMATE: HOPE IN ACTION presentations, our CLIMATE CAFÉS FOR YOUTH, BY YOUTH project, and our ACTIVE HOPE campaign that amplifies the voices of people working together on climate solutions.
All event proceeds will be shared evenly between the
Daniel Kingsbury Music for Youth Endowment, and the Jellyfish Project.
Now, more than ever, people of all ages need to hear about the solutions we can implement to address our environmental crisis, and be encouraged to take action to build a more sustainable, equitable world.
We’ve reached over 123,000 students. Help us reach 123,000 more by donating in support of our
HOPE IN ACTION presentation, and our new ACTIVE HOPE campaign that
amplifies the voices of people working together to implement real and effective climate solutions.
WE’VE BROUGHT ACTIVE HOPE TO OVER 123,000 STUDENTS!
“Thank you for coming to present at our school! It was great, and I love how you are so passionate about helping the environment, and how you stepped up to a big challenge that isn’t only making a difference in our environment, but it’s also making a difference in how youth around Canada feel more inspired and encouraged to help change the world for the better. Thank you for what you do! And the Fraser Environment Club will definitely keep in touch with you!”
“The Jellyfish Project delivered a presentation at my school in Regina when I was a kid. It lit a fire under me that has never been put out. My eyes and mindset widened; I felt empowered and connected to the world and the crisis we’re facing for the first time ever. Now, at 25, that presentation still reminds me that I am empowered to make a change and I have chosen to spend my professional and personal time working to fight the climate crisis and build a more sustainable world.
